1995年 青森県弘前市出身。
青森県立弘前高等学校及び東京音楽大学音楽学部を卒業後、渡欧。
ドイツ国立デトモルト音楽大学大学院にて研鑽を積む。
2022年9月にスイス国立チューリッヒ芸術大学修士課程クラシック演奏科を修了。
卒業試験及び卒業演奏会に於いて満点の評価を得る。
これまでに石内聡明、岡田真理子、神谷百子、菅原淳、布谷史人、肥田野恵里、Peter Prommel、Bejamin Forster、Raphael Christen(五十音順、敬称略)の各氏に師事。
第21回KOBE国際音楽コンクール優秀賞受賞。並びに神戸市教育委員会賞受賞。
PAS Italy percussion competition C部門セミファイナリスト。
第４回国際マリンバコンペティション2021(ドイツ バンベルク)第一位及びバイエルン放送局特別賞受賞。
スイス打楽器コンペティション2021マリンバ部門にて一位受賞。受賞者記念コンサートの演奏者に選ばれる。
令和５年度札幌市民芸術祭新人音楽会オーディエンス賞受賞。
2014年、ZMF on Tour JAPANに参加。
Nancy Zeltsmanをはじめとする講師陣のレッスンを受講。
2015年には第1回八ヶ岳マリンバキャンプに参加。
三村奈々恵氏、布谷史人氏のレッスンを受講、同キャンプ主催のボランティアコンサートに出演した。
第18回桜の園作曲コンクールジョイントリサイタル 未来コンサートへ出演。
東京音楽大学青森県校友会主催、第8回ときの風コンサートにて大谷康子氏(Vn.)、黒坂昇氏(Tabla)と共演。
第9回ときの風コンサートでは立原ちえ子氏(Sop.)と共演。
東京音楽大学主催オーディション合格者によるソロ室内楽コンサートにマリンバソロで出演。好評を博す。
東京音楽大学プレミアムオーケストラメンバーとしてN.カプースチンのピアノ協奏曲第3番世界初演に打楽器で参加。
2018年3月より渡独。
打楽器科主催のコンサートに数多く出演。
7月にはデトモルト、ミュンスターの2都市で行われたSonnengesangのコンサートでAlexander Gebert氏(Vc.),岡村彩実氏(打楽器)らと共演。スタンディングオベーションを受ける。
Hangar21にて行われたコンサートではマリンバソロでダンサーと共演。
2019年2月に初のマリンバソロコンサートを開催した。
同年3月より上野岳氏とマリンバデュオ''snowdrop''結成。
ヨーロッパを中心に活動を始める。
2020年７月Studio Quaria主催で自身初のオンラインでのマリンバコンサートを行い、好評を博す。
同年9月スイス国立チューリッヒ芸術大学入学。
オーケストラから室内楽まで幅広く多くのコンサートに出演。
現在は札幌を中心に演奏活動を行っている。
Ruri Kudo is Marimbist and Percussionist. She is the member of marimba duo ''snowdrop''. Born in Aomori (Japan).
She is currently based in Detmold (Germany). She began her musical education at the age of 4 on piano, at the age of 10 on percussion, then started the marimba education at
the age of 15.
Graduated from Tokyo college of Music as Bachelor. Currently in Hochschule fur Musik Detmold Master solist on
Marimba/ Percussion specialize.
Study Percussion with Toshiaki Ishiuchi, Atsushi Sugahara, Peter Prommel. Study Marimba with Mariko Okada, Momoko
Kamiya, Fumito Nunoya, Eri Hidano, Raphael Christen so far.
2014
Joined ZMF on Tour JAPAN. Had lessons with teachers including Nancy Zeltsman.
Played in 8th Tokinokaze Concert. Performed with Yasuko Otani(Vn.) and Noboru
Kurosaka(Tabla).
2015
Joined Yatsugatake Marimba Camp. She took lessons with Nanae Mimura and Fumito Nunoya, and played in the
volunteer concert hosted by the camp.
Joined in 9th Tokinokaze Concert. Performed with Chieko Tachihara(Sop.).
Won the 2nd prize and Kobe City Board of Education Award in KOBE International Music
Contest.
2016
Performed as a member of percussion ensemble in La Folle Journee au JAPON.
Played marimba solo in the concert for the students who passed the audition hosted by the college.
Premired the musical ''Kagami no yoru wo Oru'' and it was a critical success.
Premired Nikolai Kapustin: Concerto No.3 for piano and orchestra as a member of Tokyo college of music Premium
Orchestra.
2018
Start to study abroad.
Performed in many concerts produced by Schlagzeughaus.
Played ''Sonnengesang'' in Detmold and Münster with
Ayami Okamura(percussion) and Alexander Gebert(Vc.). And received a standing ovation.
Performed with dancers as a solist in Hanger 21 project.
2019
Hold a first solo concert in February.
From March, got the marimba duo "snowdrop" with Gaku Ueno.
2020
Had a online marimba concert on Youtube.
Started to study Master in Zürcher Hochschule der Künste.
2021
Got the 1st prize and Bayerischer Rundfunk Special Prize at International Marimba Festiva Competition.
Got the 1st prize at Swiss Percussion Competition and be chosen as a player for winners concert of this competition.
